Learner Lessons
Learner lessons will be conducted in either 1, 1 1/2 or 2 hour lesson slots. Lesson lengths vary depending on the pick-up points of the pupil and may also vary according to the subject being covered by the pupil ( i.e. manoeuvre lessons and test route lessons may be slightly longer).
The point of a normal lesson will be to cover 'show me tell me' questions, which is part of the driving test. In addition part of the teaching process is for the pupil to undertake a mock test, which simulates the practical test, to ensure that they are 100% ready for their practical test.
Not only do I provide 'normal' driving lessons, I also provide other services.
Pass Plus Course
Pass plus is a scheme the government introduced a few years ago to give new drivers an invaluable method of expanding their driving experiences. The course will help give pupils experience of different hazards and help boost confidence on different roads that are not covered in the learner test.
There are six practical modules:
- night driving
- all weather driving
- motor ways
- rural roads
- town
- dual carriage way
Pass Plus can be taken within the first twelve months of passing the driving test.
Some insurance companies are joining the pass plus scheme and may offer discounts for pupils who have completed the course. ( check with your insurance provider for further information)
Refresher Course
I offer refresher courses to drivers who have lost their confidence or been involved in an accident. It may be a lesson on manoeuvre or motorway. I will cater to the needs of the pupil to get them back on the roads.
Instructor Training

There are three modules ( tests) to become a driving instructor.
- Theory test/hazard perception ( part 1)
- Practical driving test ( part 2)
- Ability to instruct pupils ( part 3)
